The three day festival took place at Cosmopolite and Belleville scene in Oslo.

The festival honored record studio owner and recording engineer Jan Erik Kongshaug.

Bendik Hofseth Band at Cosmopolite

Kongshaug has recorded or produced more than 4.000 records in the famous Rainbow studio in Oslo.

Knut Reiersrud at Belleville

Kongshaug is responsible for 700 recordings on the prestige jazz label ECM.

Karin Krog

Karin Krog did an impromptu and unscheduled performance of Shiny Stockings. Krog recorded this song origninaly with Dexter Gordon in 1970, one of the first performances ever that Kongshaug recorded.

Mathias Eick Quintet at Cosmopolite

In January 2019, Kongshaug was awarded the King's Medal of Merit.
